Does it not seem to have the power it once did? Here is a quality rebuild kit for your ST-70.
Take your old ST-70 apart and use your original transformers, choke, tubes, and other small parts
and build that tired old ST-70 into something you can be proud of.
An easy project that will give your amp better looks, better sound and much higher reliability.
Hundreds of thousands of audio amateurs built the Dynaco ST-70 from 1959 to the mid ‘70’s.
The ST-70 amp is one of the easiest amps to build or rebuild. If they can do it so can you!
Included in the kit are the following (see photos below)
* 1 – New laser cut mirror polished stainless steel chassis + bottom cover with original Dynaco markings.
This chassis is also dual drilled for a variety of output transformers.
This chassis will accept not only the standard Dynaco A-470 output transformers (and all clones of this transformer),
but also the larger Hammond 1650H, 1650K, 1650N, 1650P and the Edcor CXPP60 series of output transformers.
You can build yourself a nice custom 60 WPC stereo amp on this chassis.
* 7 - Celanex™ octal tube sockets - These sockets are black like the original Dynaco tube sockets but are better quality than the original black plastic Dynaco tube sockets.
* 1 – CE multi section (80, 40, 30, 20) quadruple capacitor with almost double the DC power storage (170 uF) of the original Dynaco quad cap (90 uF).
* 1 - Pair of gold plated RCA input jack jacks with FR4 mounting board - These are spaced farther apart than the original Dynaco RCA input jacks.
* 2 - Pair of gold plated output binding posts with FR4 mounting board - These five way binding posts that may be set up for 4, 8 or 16 ohms.
* 1 – New hardware kit for the amp with all stainless steel screws
* 1 - VTA driver board and parts set

and four .22 mfd @ 1000 volt Russian K40-Y PIO (paper in oil) main coupling capacitors for the VTA driver board (+$45)
